The Power of Prayer and Why It's Important to Pray This morning during my prayer time, I was praying into a specific need for someone facing a serious health crisis. For the past week or so, I have been faithfully bringing this situation before the Lord. If I'm honest, I had begun to feel a little weary because I hadn't received any updates. I know many of you will understand that feeling. You continue to pray, you continue to stand, yet you don't always see what is happening in the natural. Then suddenly, the Lord gave me a powerful picture that strengthened my heart and renewed my faith to keep praying — I saw a huge door, and there we were with our backs pressed firmly against it while the enemy pounded relentlessly from the other side.
